Concept

Premium Australian fairy floss company, Fluffe, aims to spread joy through freshly spun sugar. The design plays with the soft pastel colours and the light texture of clouds at sunset. The space emulates a whimsical escape within Sydney's busy city with luxurious golden textures and playful combinations of pastel acrylics and pink granite.

The ground floor of this two-level establishment welcomes the public to Fluffe's retail and hospitality playground. The main floor is scattered with circular candy-pink marble tables and transparent yellow Ghost Chairs. Dangling above, spherical glass pendants illuminate the space, creating a feminine and whimsy atmosphere. Among the colourful chaos, white and grey marbled concrete flooring, sheer glass joinery, and white-painted timber wall and window framing provide a sense of balance to the space. 

A large pink marble bar with a high gloss polish with rounded corners and glass shelving creates a social ambience at the centre of the room. The polished terrazzo's sleek glossy finish complements the metallic gold bar stools, adding a luxurious feel to the youthful material palette. 

Structural columns have been artistically padded and wrapped with white leather, enhancing the cloud-inspired atmosphere and adding a soft, playful touch around the bar. At the rear end of the room, rounded partition walls mimic the gentle curves of clouds, disguising the kitchen and toilets from the dining and bar area.
